UAC FOOTBALL -- United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football solidified its national standing in the latest Top 25 rankings as the league had a foursome of squads listed in all the national polls for the first-time in conference history. Tarleton State secured one first-place vote in the Stats Perform FCS poll.
The Texans maintained the No. 3 spot in all the polls following a third consecutive 50-point explosion. Abilene Christian moved up to No. 12 (Stats Perform) and No. 13 (AFCA) after posting a strong victory in their conference opener. West Georgia remained undefeated (4-0) and climbed up the rankings to No. 18 (Stats Perform) and No. 20 (AFCA), while Austin Peay rounded out the UAC four-pack by claiming the No. 23 (Stats Perform) and No. 25 (AFCA) listings.
