UAC FOOTBALL -- For a second consecutive week, United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football accomplished some "firsts" in the history of the league as four squads were tabbed in a single poll and eight squads garnered votes in one of the two nationally-recognized lists.
Tarleton State remained undefeated and in the Top 5 of all the polls, holding the No. 3 spot in all of them following a dominating home-opening performance. Abilene Christian moved up to 13th in both recognized lists while Austin Peay collected a position at No. 22 (SP) and No. 23 (AFCA) in the two polls. West Georgia made history of its own when the Wolves garnered the No. 25 spot in the Stats Perform ranking, marking the program's first Top 25 honor in its Division I era. Eastern Kentucky, Southern Utah, Central Arkansas and North Alabama all earned votes in one of the polls for the week.
