#UACFOOTBALL -- The final Saturday of regular season action for United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football is full of storylines headlined by the winner-take-all matchup between No. 12/15 Austin Peay and No. 20 Central Arkanasas for the automatic berth into the FCS Playoffs.  

The Govs (8-2, 5-0 UAC) carry an eight-game win streak into the head-to-head clash with the Bears (7-3, 4-1 UAC) on Saturday afternoon at "The Fort". Austin Peay has already earned a share of an UAC Championship and could claim sole ownership of the title with a victory. UCA would gain a share of the crown with a win while the game victor also secures the UAC's AQ bid to the Playoffs.

EKU (4-6, 3-2 UAC) hosts Stephen F. Austin (3-7, 0-5 UAC) in the season finale for both squads. The Colonels look to snap a two-game skid while the Lumberjacks seek to collect their first conference win of the season and halt a five-game losing streak.

In the "Battle for the Axe", Southern Utah (5-5, 3-2 UAC) travels to face in-state rival Utah Tech (2-8, 1-4 UAC) on Saturday evening in the last UAC contest of the 2023 slate. The Thunderbirds have won three straight by double digits and look to finish the season with a winning record. The Trailblazers hope to end a four-game slide and end their season on a high note against their rivals.

A pair of UAC squads wrap up their campaigns with contests against some top tier FBS programs from Power 5 Conferences. Abilene Christian (5-5, 3-3 UAC) vists the SEC's Texas A&M for an 11 AM kickoff while North Alabama (3-7, 1-5 UAC) squares off against No. 4-ranked Florida State on Saturday night in Tallahassee.
