UAC FOOTBALL -- A foursome of United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football squads claimed spots in the Top 25 of all the National Rankings for the third consecutive week. The quartet matches the most ranked teams for the league in a single weekly poll.

Tarleton State (6-0, 2-0 UAC) held onto the No. 3 spot in three of the four polls after holding off an upset bid from Southern Utah. In a battle of nationally-ranked UAC teams, Austin Peay (4-2, 2-1 UAC) topped previosuly unbeated West Georgia (5-1, 2-1 UAC) to move ahead of their league rivals in the polls. The Govs climbed up to places between No. 15 thru No. 19 in the national polls while the Wolves slipped to the No. 20/21 rankngs. Abilene Christian (3-3, 2-0 UAC) remained undefeated in league play to secure rankings between No. 18 to No. 21.
