Football 4/26/2026 2:46:16 PM ACU's Jordon Vaughn Signs with Indianapolis Colts Abilene Christian’s Jordon Vaughn has inked a deal with the Indianapolis Colts, the program announced Sunday. Vaughn, a 6-foot-3 running back out of Manvel, Texas, played in 14 games for the Wildcats where he rushed for 671 yards on 114 attempts. His eight touchdowns on the ground and 671 yards from scrimmage this season ranked him seventh in the UAC in both categories. Vaughn totaled two multi-touchdown games this season for ACU: two in the team’s 28-20 win over Stephan F. Austin and three against SFA in the second round of the NCAA Division I FCS Championship. He went on to record two 100+ rushing yard games with his season-best coming against Southern Utah where he ran for 124 yards on nine attempts. The Colts are coming off an 8-9 season where they finished third in the AFC South. Indianapolis started out hot winning eight of its first 10 games of the season, including a key victory over the Denver Broncos, who went on to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
