The United Athletic Conference has announced its annual Football Kickoff event set for Tuesday, July 21 at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas. The event will be streamed live on ESPN+ from 11 a.m. CT to 1 p.m. CT (12 p.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET).
The UAC moves its Kickoff event back to the Lone Star state after spending last season in Nashville, Tenn. in part to highlight the site for the FCS Championship that was held at Vanderbilt’s FirstBank Stadium earlier this year.
All eight members of the league will be represented by their head coach and selected student-athletes. The attendees will participate in the live interview portion on ESPN+ as well as several promotional photo/video and social media sessions. External media will also have the opportunity to meet with coaches and student-athletes through one-on-one sessions.
In addition, the festivity includes the announcement of the UAC’s Preseason All-Conference Awards and Coaches’ Preseason Poll along with comments about the conference from Unisun Sports CEO Jeff Bacon.
More information regarding the event, attendees, media credentials, etc. will be announced at a later date.
